The Enthusiast 

This wry vintage print shows a house bound yet dedicated fisherman fly fishing at home in his den. This print was engraved by R Beckwith from a painting by T Lane. Published in The London Art Journal of 1850.  It is accompanied by an original period short description of the engraving and the painter. This print is in excellent condition. It is printed on a heavy stock paper blank on the reverse side. There is a wide generous margin. The dimensions minus the margins measures approx. 10" X 7.50". The entire page measures approx. 12.75" X 9.25". This is not a reproduction. This is a 153 year old engraving guaranteed to be as described.
