Gen. George Custer

These are vintage engraved portraits of Major General George A. Custer and Colonel Marshall Lefferts published in Harper's Weekly and dated July 22, 1876, about a month after Custer's defeat at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. The engraving is in excellent condition. A fine historic print! Dimensions of the portraits are approx. 6 by 4.50 inches.  This is a full uncut page of the paper measuring approx. 10 by 14.50 inches. This is not a modern reproduction or reprint. It is a woodcut engraving, over 125 years old, and guaranteed to be as described.
