The Good Samaritan

A very fine and very lovely steel engraving dating from 1858 and showing the parable of the Good Samaritan. It is in very good condition and was engraved from an original painting by English artist Sir Charles Eastlake.  There is a pale foxing spot  beneath the title in the margin area. This could be covered with a matting. The image size is approx. 7 by 10 inches, and overall size is approx. 9 by 12 inches with a white margin.
