MANTILLA CLOAKS ITEM # 2240 PRICE $35.00 This is a group of antique engravings
of the latest fashions in women's cloaks and jackets published in Gleason's
Pictorial in 1853. They are in excellent condition and show four mantilla cloaks
- The La Sicilienne, The Grecian, La Prima Donna, and La Valliere. Nice details
of these fine embroidered cloaks, three of them with natural floral designs.
Each engraving measures approx. 6.50 by 4, and are accompanied by an article
describing the cloaks and the fabrics used. Excellent costume history! This is a
complete uncut page of the paper measuring approx. 10.50 by 15 inches.
