This is a genuine antique engraved map titled "Nice." published in 1885. The map is in excellent condition and was drawn and engraved by Wagner & Diebes of Liepzig, Germany. The map is drawn on a 1:19,000 meter scale and shows the streets of the city center and major roads, train station, parks, theaters, palaces, museums, neighborhoods, the Quartier des Beamettes, Quartier du Lazaret, north to the Quartier de St. Etienne, the Quartier de St. Roch, and the surrounding area. There is a two tone coloring in this detailed map. There is a numbered key at the bottom showing the location of churches, government offices, banks, major streets, and much more. This map measures approx. 6 by 8 inches. The paper is mildly age toned.
