The Old Mill

A very fine and very lovely steel engraving dating from 1858 and showing an idyllic scene of  an old mill and a raceway with a wooded path and a few people in the foreground. It is in excellent condition and was engraved from an original painting by Dutch artist Minderhout Hobbema. The image size is approx. 7.50 by 9.50 inches, and overall size is approx. 9 by 12 inches with a white margin. It is printed on a heavy stock paper blank on the reverse side, a very fine art print.
