"Rev. J.W. Wesley Preaching on His Father's Tomb.", Engraved by F.E Jones. It is in excellent condition and shows a remarkably detailed scene of the founder of the Methodist Church addressing a crowd of people in a churchyard. This rare view was published in an American Methodist literary and arts publication in 1849. The print is accompanied by a page of original text describing the scene in detail. Dimensions of the print area are, minus margins, approx. 5.25 by 7.50 inches, and the entire page it is printed on 6.50 by 10 inches. This is not a reproduction or reprint.
